Inmate trash pickup program

Inmates from the Stone County Jail recently picked up trash along Highway 87. A total of 130 large bags were collected over the nearly 10-mile stretch of highway. This program is a great way to give back to our community while offering rehabilitation benefits to inmates. This in conjunction with the cemetery cleanup program and other programs continues to be a success and better serve our community.
