The Stone County Sheriff's Office Administrative Assistant coordinates all clerical and record-keeping for the Sheriff's Office. They directly manage the accounts payable processes as well as the County Treasurer for all monies received.

The Sheriff's Office is responsible for receiving, maintaining, and tracking all civil process that comes to the Sheriff's Office. These include Summons, Subpoenas, Eviction Notices, Orders of Protection, and various Writs.

Detention Center Officers are in charge of entering tickets from the Stone County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas State Police, and the Arkansas Game and Fish. Officers ensure that each ticket is entered for the District Court so it may be correctly placed on the Court docket. Detention Officers are responsible for the operation of the Detention Center.

Detention Center Administrator Kyle Dodson prepares the necessary reports and paperwork associated with the transfer of inmates to the Arkansas Department of Corrections following Court Pleas/trial and sentencing determinations made by the Court.  Administrator Dodson also supervises all Detention Center Officers.

Chief Deputy Phil Burnham oversees the day-to-day function of the Sheriff's Department and supervises all Deputies and Criminal Investigators.  He consults daily with the Sheriff, on matters pertinent to the service of Stone County citizens. The Chief Deputy also supervises all internal training.
