---HOME INVASION AND THEFT LEAD TO ARREST---
On Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at approximately 6:30 AM, Stone County Deputies were dispatched to an address in the 31000 block of Highway 263 in Onia Arkansas regarding a home invasion. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that an individual had forced entry into a home and stolen various items of property including a vehicle that was parked at the residence.
Detectives were called to investigate the scene and subsequently identified Dusty Allan Rhodes, 33 of Harriet Arkansas as a suspect. After identifying Rhodes as a suspect, a Nationwide BOLO was placed for him and the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later discovered at a Dollar General in Marion County Arkansas. Rhodes was located and arrested after a search of the area was conducted. Rhodes has been taken to the Marion County Detention Center to await transport to Stone County where he will face numerous charges as a result of the home invasion.
Dusty Allan Rhodes charges will include the following:
• RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY A CLASS "B" FELONY
• THEFT OF PROPERTY A CLASS "C" FELONY
• THEFT BY RECEIVING A CLASS 'C" FELONY
• BREAKING OR ENTERING X 2 A CLASS "D" FELONY
• HABITUAL OFFENDER HAVING BEEN CONVICTED OF FOUR (4) OR MORE PRIOR FELONIES
To date Rhodes is being held without a bond set. The Stone County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas State Police, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Mountain Home Police Department and the Arkansas Department of Corrections K9 Team for their assistance in this case.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
