On the morning of September 14, 2016, the White River Area Agency on Aging reported an employee had not returned from her appointed home visit the previous day and the company van she was driving was also missing. That afternoon the employee was located alive and well. The employee had made a wrong turn onto a rural mountain road and became stuck. It was due to the dedicated work of first responders that this missing persons case had such a tremendous outcome.
