Sheriff Lance Bonds states that on December 16th 2014, investigators and deputies with his agency arrested Andrew Petters, age 49 of Stone County with Sexual Indecency with a child. After a lengthy Sheriff's investigation and in conjunction with the Arkansas State Police crimes Against Children Division, Petters was jailed at the Stone County Detention Center.
After reviewing all the information contained in the investigation, Sixteenth Judicial Prosecuting Attorney Don McSpadden formally charged Petters with 3 counts of Sexual Indecency with a child (Class D felonies). He is currently awaiting his first court appearance on January 9th 2015, in the Stone County Circuit Court.
