Stone County Sheriff Lance Bonds would like to advise citizens that there are several scams going on throughout the county. One of the Scams is a woman will call using the name Tammy Walker from a 1-800 number and say that the phone bill is overdue and that she needs a credit card number. The citizens gives the number out and within hours the citizen has charges on their credit ca...rd.

There is another scam that comes in through the mail. The citizen receives mail stating that they won a round trip to California through ORBITZ and free hotel. All they have to pay is the taxes and they request payment or a card number.
