Sheriff Bond update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff's Office.
During the week of 7/12 - 7/18 deputies responded to:
. A stalled vehicle on Dodd Mountain.
. A report of a pit bull dog loose on Blue Sky Road.
. A two-vehicle accident on Happy Hollow Road. No personal injuries.
. A field fire on Hwy. 5 South.
. Cows in the road on Hwy. 87 and on Rocky Bayou.
. A disgruntled contractor on Ruddle Road.
. An attempted suicide on Red River Road. No contact.
. A domestic disturbance on Possum Lane. Resolved.
. A drunk driver report on Double Bridge Loop. No contact.
. A broken down truck pulling a mobile home on Hwy. 14 East.
. A report of a juvenile drinking at Fox. Unfounded.
. A domestic disturbance on Herpel Road.
. A complaint of gunshots at Fifty Six.
. A domestic disturbance on Blue Jay Way. Settled.
. A suicide threat on Herpel Road. Transported by Vital Link.
. A domestic disturbance on Gypsy Lane.
. A two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 North. No personal injuries.
. A dog shooting on Sunnyland Road. Dog alright.
Deputies also:
. Recovered a stolen camper trailer at Optimus river landing.
. Served a protection order in Mountain View.
. Recovered a stolen vehicle at St. James.
. Made a report of a stolen tractor on Hwy. 9 South. Recovered and felony arrest filed.
. Transferred one inmate to medical center.
. Made numerous building checks around the county.
. Made civil standbys on Bob Davis Road and on Gammill Lane.
. Made a report of a possible stolen vehicle at Alco. Turned out not to be stolen.
. Made a misdemeanor arrest for Izard County.
. Made a theft report on Shafer Drive.
. Recovered a stolen tractor at Pleasant Grove. One felony arrest.
. Arranged for an abandoned vehicle to be towed.
. Received information on wanted suspects at Pleasant Grove resulting in two felony arrests and one DWI arrest.
. Made vandalism reports at Marcella and at Fifty Six Water Department.
. Supervised trash pick-up on Hwy. 9 South and Luber Road. Picked up 24 bags of trash from 1.5 miles of highway.
